This hotel seems like 5*
May 10, 2017One of the best hotels
May 10, 2017Loved this hotel so much and have real holiday blues at the moment! We had a sea view room but at the side of the hotel which was nice. So we were away from the bar noise at night if we wanted to get an early night and didn’t see right over everyone sunbathing. Just the amazing sea view from the side of the hotel . We arrived just before 10pm which is when they stop serving dinner but they let us go in and eat anyway. Otherwise they were nice enough to make people sandwiches if they didn’t want a proper meal. The pool bar is awesome and has lovely cocktails. I recommend the Cyprus kiss plenty of sunbeds and never ever a problem getting one as there is a grassy bit behind the pool further down toward the sea front that has loads of beds too. Food was lovely room always a good selection and loved the snack time about 3pm – 5pm where we would always take a load of chicken nuggets and chips back to our room haha. Total mix of ages here too. Was worried it would be loads of oldies but there were loads of couples in their twenties and then a few people with very young babies. Lots of Russians too as it is close to them I guess!
We went up to coral bay (5 min bus ride – bus stop 2 mins from hotel) and we tented a quad bike from ‘golden ride’ – think that’s what it was called! €100 deposit and €60 payment. No problem in getting the deposit back at the end. You do have to put your own petrol in though. We put in €10 and it got us all around coral bay all day and we took it back with fuel to spare!
Evening entertainment is a bit naff, good for the oldies as they seemed to like it but pants for young couples. A lot of people said they went into coral bay but it wasn’t as party like ass they thought it would be and apparently try main paphos strip is a ghost town and everything is shut down. It is perfect though if you just want to go away and not bother partying and no just drink at the hotel there is a karaoke night which apparently according to staff is always overrun with locals that come in and take over – and they’re not even good at singing so take your ear plugs!
We LOVED this holiday and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a boiling hot getaway. We wish we stayed for 10 days instead of 7 but we know now for next time! Temperatures hit about 38 degrees while we were there first week of July. Couldn’t sunbathe but we had lots of fun in the pool and sat isn’t the shade most of the time.
Also the rooms are just fine. Basic hotel rooms with everything you need. Definitely get a sea view if you’re going to stay here the view is like nothing I’ve ever seen before
